Which Henna Morena values do you identify with the most?
Like many of the herbal supplements I prescribe in my practice to enhance the treatment of various conditions, Henna Morena also draws inspiration from what nature provides us. I love that connection between herbs and their benefits! In my medical practice, I embrace this same perspective: healing using natural tools, guiding my patients towards natural ways of caring for their health holistically, and hair is definitely a significant part of that overall well-being!
What is your specific ritual with Henna Morena products?
Once a week, the night before washing my hair, I apply almond and myrrh oil. Myrrh oil, besides helping to strengthen hair growth, has a relaxing effect on the nervous system and helps reduce stress. This and lavender are perfect for applying before bedtime! The next day, I wash my hair with nettle and thyme shampoo or henna and silicon shampoo and apply orange and shea conditioner. Since I have wavy hair, to help define the wave, I use aloe vera gel with lavender scent.
How has your hair changed since using Henna Morena?
Since I delved into the wonderful world of Henna Morena, my hair has undergone a transformation that I can hardly believe. Now it shines brighter than the lights on my Christmas tree, sheds less (goodbye to the carpet full of hair), and is so soft that I can't stop touching it. But the best part is the coppery touch that the dye gives to my hair. I experience a unique connection with my inner power every time I dye it with their henna. It's pure magic. My hair adores it!
Do you have any advice or tricks you'd like to share?
Use oils! Even if your hair tends to be oily, cold-pressed oils are like the crown jewel for nourishing and hydrating. Sometimes excess oiliness is a sign of internal imbalance. Oils don't grease the hair, quite the opposite. They're like the crown your hair needs, like a natural protective layer for your mane.
How would you explain Henna Morena to a friend?
It's like giving your hair a natural hug. Natural medicine for the hair? Exactly! Because we must take care of ourselves from the inside out, but also from the outside in, and we must not forget that the skin is the body's largest organ and that we absorb everything through it. Therefore, good intestinal health, a happy brain, and radiant hair go hand in hand!
What product do you recommend the most?
Choosing just one product is like asking me to choose my favorite dish: Impossible! That's why I'll reveal the top 3 I usually recommend in my practice: nettle and thyme shampoo, solid tar and juniper shampoo, and F12 anti-hair loss lotion. In my practice, I see many intestinal and skin problems on the scalp, such as dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, alopecia... These two shampoos are my heroes for keeping the hair healthy and itch-free. And the anti-hair loss lotion with Capixyl is the bomb: it stimulates follicle creation, promotes collagen production, and improves circulation. No weird ingredients, just natural love for the hair!
What is your essential product if you had to go to a deserted island?
Without a doubt, almond oil with jasmine and orange blossom aroma. Not only because of how it hydrates my hair, but because its scent transports me to my childhood, to the countryside house, and to my beloved land: Murcia. A blend of care and nostalgia that I wouldn't trade for anything! Because there are scents that tell stories.
