Henna Morena Method for Weak and Hair Loss

What's the best treatment for hair loss? A comprehensive care routine, involving the combination of the right products for weak hair, at every step of our Method.

Weak hair is fragile and prone to breaking easily. It often has split ends, lacks elasticity and has a rough texture, as well as lacking volume and body.

Wealness makes the hair look finer and more sparese and it is often accompanied by a sensitive scalp.

The main goal is to strengthen and stimulate growth to reduce hair loss. You should focus on Step 3 of our Method, emphasizing plant-based treatments, the Anti-Hair Loss Lotion F12 and Step 4 of coloring. The dyes will also provide extra nutrients to improve your hair's health.

These are the products chosen for weak and thinning hair to follow the Henna Morena Method

start over and prepare the hair.

  WEEKS 1, 2, 3 AND 4 (ALONGSIDE STEP 2)

The first step of the Henna Morena Method is ad deep cleansing with high-quality sulfate shampoos that remove harmful substances from the hair and have an alkaline pH to open the cuticle and make it receptive to subsequent plant-based treatments.

JUNIPER SHAMPOO BAR

INDICATED AGAINST DANDRUFF, PROTECS SENSITIVE SCALP, CLEANSES AND BALANCES.

Restore the moisture in the hair.

→ STARTING FROM WEEK 1

After the initial reset with the solid shampoos, it is crucial to use hydration products after washing and intensive treatments on dry hair. You should start Step 2 simultaneously with Step 1.

The Henna Morena Method now reaches a crucial and non-negotiable point: our hair needs to reinforce basic hydration after washing. On one hand, our post-wash conditioners, made with hydrating and repairing ingredients, are essential for leaving the hair silky and easy to style.

To complete the hydration, we will use hydrating treatments with essential vegetable oils that repair the hair cuticle and prevent natural dehydration caused by external factors such as cold, sun, humidity or synthetic products. Applied to dry hair, from the scalp to the ends, these treatments reconstruct the hair fiber from within, prevent water loss, eliminate frizz and achieve spectacular shine and softness.

A conditioner, a liquid shampoo and a hair oil.

Finish each wash with the conditioner.

In parallel, once a week, use a mask with one of our hair oils.

After a month or two, you can space out the oil applications to 1-2 times a month.

To remove the oils from your hair, we recommend using the liquid Nettle and Thyme Shampoo, which effectively combats excess oil, helps seal the cuticle without leaving residues and provides protective ingredients for the hair.

→ STARTING FROM WEEK 4

Once the hair is clean and hydrated, it's time to nourish it: nutrition. Plant and mineral treatments (whether powdered or liquid) require the hair cuticle to be repaired in order to counteract their astringent effects and fully benefit from their properties.

If your hair is damaged, has split ends, or is color-treated (for example) and you have not completed the previous steps of (1) resetting and (2) hydrating for at least 1 month, do not proceed with the Henna Morena Method because the hair is not prepared to absorb the nutrients from the plants.

To remove plant poultices, use our sulfate-free Nettle and Thyme Shampoo, which will help remove product residues from your hair while sealing the cuticle without leaving any residues.

One or more powdered treatments, depending on your hair's needs. Both Cassia Obovata and Walnut have similar properties. the difference is that Walnut contains natural tannins that slightly dye teh hair a brown color. Therefore, if you have dark hair, Walnut will help revive your natural brown tone in addition to providing other benefits. For other hair types, we recommend Cassia Obovata, provided you have previously completed Steps 1 and 2.

If you have hair loss, use the Anti-Hair Loss Scalp Lotion F12.

As a basic option, we recommend choosing a powdered treatment like Cassia or Walnut. From this point on, you can apply these treatments once a month. If you choose to color your hair with plant-based dyes (Step 4), you can easily alternate these treatments with the coloring.

If you also want to include another treatment, such as the Anti-Hair Loss Scalp Lotion F12, follow the application instructions provided for each product to know how and when to use them.

To remove powdered treatments, we recommend using the Nettle and Thyme Shampoo, which effectively combats excess oil, helps seal the cuticle without leaving residues, and provides protective ingredients for the hair.

→ STARTING FROM WEEK 5

Your hair is now ready to use one of our plant-based coloring products (if you weren't planning to change your hair color, you can proceed to Step 5) However, you should know that our plant-based coloring products are not just simple dyes. they are 100% plant formulas designed to both pigment and nourish the hair.

How does plant-based pigmentation work?

Traditional dyes work by creating a chemical reaction that breaks down the hair cuticle fibers to reach the cortex and change the color through oxidation. In contrast, plant-based coloring works through deposition. What does this mean? The pigments adhere os deposit onto cuticle, the outer layer of the hair, while preserving the hair fibers. Pigmentation will occur over your natural hair color. Since there is no oxidation, it is not possible to lighten the color.

The more you use synthetic color, the more you weaken and damage your hair. However, with plant-based color, the more often you apply plant-based color, the more gray coverage, shine and density you achieve. Additionally, by repairing the cuticle, you counteract damage caused by the sun, pollution, bleaching or peroxide. Our range of plant-based coloring consists of 10 plant formulas that provide different pigments and the result will depend on the natural color to which you apply them.

To wash your hair after applying plant-based dyes, we recommend using the sulfate-free Honey and orange Liquid Shampoo, which will help remove plant residues from your hair while sealing the cuticle without leaving any residue.

Choose the formula you want to use to color your hair. You can refer to our coloring guide here.

Keep in mind thatif you have dark hair and 50% or more gary hair, you will need to perform a double coloring. This is explained in the coloring guide.

Remember that you will need to add hair oil.

Once you have completed Steps 1, 2 and 3, you can begin with plant-based coloring.

You can repeat the coloring application as often as needed: it will not harm your hair. Typically, it is done once a month, although you can also apply it every 15 day to touch up roots if necessary.
