7 tips to shine this Christmas

- 12/10/2019

There's no better excuse than Christmas to start taking care of yourself and, if it's with plants, you'll be taking care of the environment too. Our hair is the key to a perfect look, both on the outside and on the inside, because healthy, well-groomed hair is a sign of well-being.

We give you 7 basic recipes to make your hair healthier, prettier and shinier than ever this holiday season.

1. Always carry Henna Blossom Almond Oil with you. Temperature contrasts and woollen hats in contact with the hair can dehydrate and damage it, so it is vital to use oil. Take weekly oil baths and you can also put a few drops of oil in your regular shampoo to nourish it even more.

2. Apply an infusion of Black Tea, cinnamon and hibiscus from Henna Morena after shampooing to give your hair a touch of natural softness and nourishment against the cold.

3. Carry an eco-wooden brush (ash and rubber) in your handbag. It's a must-have for the whole winter, as the wind and cold tend to dull hair. By brushing it properly, you'll restore shine and avoid static electricity.

4. Don't overuse heat. Moderate the use of hot water, it weakens the hair structure, facilitates hair loss and makes the ends more brittle. Don't overuse straighteners or hairdryers either, they are a time bomb if your hair is dry or weakened.

5. When washing your hair, do the last rinse with cold water to close the hair cuticle. Cold water causes vasoconstriction, improving blood circulation in the scalp and filling the hair follicles with blood, which reactivates cellular activity, improving the condition of the scalp. So catch your breath and hold your last rinse with cold water - it's for your own good!

6. Always carry our solid Shea butter in your handbag to moisturise lips and eye area. It will provide warmth and oil, deep hydration, and a protective and illuminating effect.

7. To keep your hair in place, use this fixing Aloe Gel in all your hairstyles. It will help you to fix your hairstyle without a stiff effect and will also provide extra hydration and nutrients.
