Frizz: auniversal problem with 3 step sollution

- 09/15/2026

Frizz or hair frizz is an effect in which the hair becomes puffy and unruly, giving it a rebellious, dull and shapeless appearance.

Frizz occurs when the hair cuticle, the outer layer that protects the hair, opens, lifts or becomes damaged.

The cuticle is made up of cells that, together, create a surface similar to overlapping scales. When these cells are smooth and neatly aligned, the hair reflects light better. But when they become raised or damaged, chaos takes over and the dreaded frizz appears.

These are the main factors that can cause this effect:

Lack of hydration

Dry, dehydrated hair acts like a sponge. When it is thirsty, it can open its cuticle and try to absorb the moisture present in the air.

Environmental humidity

When moisture from the environment enters through the open cuticle, the hair fibre can swell unevenly, creating those little “clouds” of stubborn hairs sticking up.

Static electricity

Sometimes hair can become electrically charged due to friction with clothing or certain brush materials, making the situation even worse.

Physical or chemical damage

Excessive use of straighteners, hair dryers without heat protection, synthetic dyes, bleaching and other similar treatments can directly damage the cuticle and leave the hair fibre more vulnerable.

The Anti-Frizz Treatment That Will Help You Take Back Control

3 steps to follow for at least one month, until you begin to see improvements. Let's take a look at the routine, along with some tips from our stylists:

1. Deep nourishment with Grape Seed & Petit Grain Oil

Its high content of vitamins and Omega-6 makes it a must-have for deep nourishment.

TIP: Apply it to dry hair before washing, as botanical lipids are better absorbed when there is no water acting as a barrier.

Apply a generous amount from the scalp through the mid-lengths and down to the ends. Massage gently and leave it on for at least 2 hours. Then wash your hair with Honey & Orange Shampoo.

2. Wash and condition

The acidic pH of Honey & Orange Shampoo is ideal for a gentle and respectful cleanse.

TIP: Emulsify the shampoo with a little water in your hands before applying it to the scalp, focusing on the roots, where most dirt and oil accumulate.

Friction is our enemy, so massage gently. There is no need to apply extra shampoo to the rest of your hair. As you rinse, the product running through the lengths will be enough to cleanse them without unnecessarily removing the hair's natural oils.

The Orange & Shea Butter Conditioner not only has an irresistible scent, but also has a clear purpose: helping to seal the cuticle. Apply it from mid-lengths to ends and feel its smoothing power.

3. A polished finish

Avoid letting your hair air-dry completely. Hair-drying tools are not our arch-enemy; we simply need to know how to use them correctly.

TIP: Remove excess moisture from your hair with a towel, without rubbing. Then dry using cool or warm air.

Spray your hair with the Anti-Frizz Spray and give it another quick blast with the hair dryer to achieve a smoother, more polished finish.

Why is it important to care for the hair fibre?

The most important thing is to remember that the hair fibre needs its protective shield. When the cuticle becomes damaged, the hair loses part of this natural protection and becomes more vulnerable to external factors.

That's why a consistent routine focused on nourishment, gentle cleansing, conditioning and protection can help keep your hair looking smoother, softer and more manageable.

Your Anti-Frizz routine:

  1. Nourish: Grape Seed & Petit Grain Oil before washing.
  2. Wash & condition: Honey & Orange Shampoo + Orange & Shea Butter Conditioner.
  3. Finish: Anti-Frizz Spray and dry with cool or warm air.

Consistency is the key to achieving smoother, healthier-looking hair with less frizz.
