Hair care: A routine that will change your hair
Years spent following a facial routine and yet we’ve left hair care in the background. If you don’t have one—or it’s never even crossed your mind—now is the time to incorporate it into your life, because a little extra self-care never hurts.
We’re going to guide you step-by-step to give your mane what it needs. You'll get to know your hair better than your hairdresser and be able to adjust your routine on your own.
Washing: solid or liquid shampoos
Washing is essential, but sometimes we’re not clear on which products actually work for us. Let’s break it down:
In-depth cleansing: solid shampoos
If you've been using chemical dyes and want to switch to a synthetic-free lifestyle, the ideal first step is a good detox to eliminate residues and prepare your hair to absorb the nutrients it needs.
It's also a great option for the whole family or for those who prefer a solid, long-lasting, plastic-free format that's easy to travel with.
With an alkaline pH and naturally occurring sulfates (SCS) from coconut, it opens the cuticle and effectively removes chemical build-up and silicones from other products. That’s why it’s essential to follow up with a conditioner to seal the cuticle—we’ll talk about this later.
Choose from our solid shampoo range according to your hair type or specific needs.
Pomelo Solid Shampoo to regulate sebum if you have oily hair.
Green Tea Solid Shampoo for normal hair and regular use, especially if you work out or wash your hair frequently.
Juniper Tar Solid Shampoo to combat flaking and soothe a sensitive scalp.
Coconut Solid Shampoo for dry hair that needs extra hydration.
Cocoa and Shea Butter Solid Shampoo for curly, color-treated, or damaged hair.
Gentle shampoos: liquid, sulfate- and silicone-free
Hair washing not only removes dirt and pollutants but is key to balancing the scalp’s natural oils and maintaining its health. These liquid shampoos have a less alkaline pH than solid ones and help to seal the cuticle, so extra hydration isn’t always necessary immediately after.
Anyone can benefit from our botanical liquid shampoos—just pick the one that best suits your hair and its needs.
Honey and Orange Shampoo is ideal for dry, damaged hair. It deeply nourishes, cleanses, and hydrates.
Nettle and Thyme Shampoo is great for fragile hair and helps prevent hair loss.
Sage and Lavender Shampoo stimulates hair growth, adds volume, and keeps shine intact.
Henna and Silicon Shampoo repairs and strengthens the hair. It also helps maintain the color of dyed hair for longer—without the need for dye.
After washing: hydrate with conditioners
Like an inseparable duo, the conditioner and shampoo are meant to go hand-in-hand: while one removes impurities and preps the hair for hydration, the conditioner steps in to moisturize, seal the cuticle, protect, and prevent dryness—in other words, to prevent frizz.
A few minutes for major results
All of our conditioners aim to do the same: provide a lightweight texture with fast-absorbing, hydrating ingredients so they take effect in just a few minutes. You can use them with every wash—just choose the one that best fits your hair type. Here’s a breakdown:
If you're looking for a daily-use conditioner that’s easy to apply and glides through your hair with an instant effect, go for the Orange and Shea Conditioner. It can also be left in the hair as a leave-in treatment, allowing your hair to absorb its nutrients all day long.
If your hair is dark and you want to protect and enhance the color, we recommend the Walnut and Sage Conditioner, which prevents oxidation and premature aging of the hair. It hydrates while enhancing the color of dark and very dark hair, offering intense shine and soft, easy-to-comb texture.
If you want to restore brightness to gray hair, neutralize yellow tones, and soften white or silver strands, we suggest the Azulene, Algae and Shea Conditioner. We also offer a Coconut Solid Conditioner, ideal for fine and straight hair. It leaves hair noticeably softer after rinsing and is perfect for travel or a zero-waste lifestyle.
Weekly nourishment with hair oils
Hair oils are essential for a complete routine. Regardless of your hair type, don’t skip this step if you want to keep your hair healthy.
The new massage brush
Now with our new brush, a massage prior to the application of the oils is ideal for them to penetrate and thus enhance their benefits.
As you indulge in a gentle scalp massage, it stimulates blood circulation, promotes lymphatic drainage and improves skin texture. By gently massaging, bamboo helps to remove dead skin cells. In addition, it is made of bamboo, which is hypoallergenic and antibacterial as well as being a very durable and recyclable material.
A deeply pleasurable ritual
Once a week, apply hair oil to dry hair with a gentle massage and leave it on for at least 2 hours—or ideally overnight. The fatty acids repair the cuticle and prevent dehydration caused by external aggressors.
Henna Morena’s hair oils, applied from scalp to ends on dry hair, rebuild the hair fiber from the inside out, lock in moisture, eliminate frizz, and deliver stunning shine and softness.
Grape Seed and Petitgrain Oil for fine, damaged, or chemically treated hair exposed to pollution and external damage.
Almond Oil with Henna Flower for dry, frizzy, or damaged hair.
Almond Oil with Jasmine and Orange Blossom suitable for all hair types. This oil balances the scalp and adds shine and natural flexibility to all hair textures.
Almond Oil with Lavender ideal for fine and dry hair, deeply hydrating and restoring shine and flexibility.
Almond Oil with Myrrh is perfect for weak, brittle hair. It deeply hydrates to maintain healthy hair and a stronger scalp.
As you can see, a basic routine doesn’t have to be complicated—in fact, you’re probably already following one and just need to adjust a few steps. Your habits should always include hair care: wash with quality shampoos, hydrate with conditioner, and treat your hair with nourishing oil once a week. If your hair is particularly damaged, increase the frequency of oil masks—you’ll feel the difference right away. Just a few steps to bring your hair back to life.
