I want to dye my hair copper: which Henna should I choose?

- 10/24/2024

Whether it is more or less in trend, copper is always present and, of course, it will always have its fan club. This colour is synonymous with light, character and personality and looks great on Mediterranean women who are natural brunettes.

The good thing is that to get a coppery tone as a brunette you don't need to punish your hair with bleaching: you can achieve it with Natural Dyes. We'll tell you how!

Why Henna dyes the hair a coppery colour

Henna is the vegetable powder obtained by crushing the leaves of a shrub commonly called ‘Henna’. These leaves contain a molecule called Lawsonia, which has a pigmenting capacity.

This powder dyes the hair a coppery colour, which will be more or less intense depending on how dark or light the hair colour is:

- On light manes, the copper will be very vivid.

- On brown hair, the copper will tend towards a hazelnut tone. - On dark hair, copper will be a slight reflection, more noticeable in the sun.

- When applied on grey hair, Henna always tints coppery-orange, especially the first few times. However, the more often you apply henna, the better the colour covers and the darker the copper tends to darken.

The importance of hair infusion and phytotherapy in our dyes

All our vegetable dyes are accompanied by a hair infusion which, as well as helping to achieve the correct texture of the dye, provides properties and benefits to the hair. This approach, based on phytotherapy and the therapeutic power of plants, helps us to care for and treat our hair while we are dyeing, as the infusions provide the properties of the plants directly to the hair.

In the case of the ‘Henna’ formulas, each one includes a different infusion with specific properties, so you should choose the right formula according to the needs of your hair!

Henna Morena copper tones and formulas

In our colouring menu you will find 4 formulas that dye your hair coppery, and they are the 4 dyes that exclusively contain the Henna plant. 100% crushed plant powder that gives you copper tones and interacts with the infusion included in the pack.

These are the differences between them:

IF YOU WANT A COPPERY TONE

In our range, there are 3 Henna products that provide the same shade: the difference lies in the properties of the infusion that accompanies them. Choose yours according to your hair type and needs:

- Specificaly for hair loss: Henna with Nettle and Thyme.

- Specificaly for greasy hair: Henna with Rosemary and Sage.

- Specificaly for fine hair without volume: Henna with Lavender and Orange Blossom.

IF YOU WANT AN INTENSE COPPER TONE

In this case there is only one Henna dye that gives you an intense copper tone, and it is a tone that is achieved thanks to the infusion that accompanies it. As it is rich in tannins, it enhances the copper pigment even more: Henna with Black Tea, Cinnamon and Hibiscus.

Henna is trendy. And so is dyeing hair in the most natural way.
