When Berta contacted us, her hair was very damaged and oxidized. She had been going to traditional synthetic salons, with more than 50% gray hair, and her main goal was to find a solution to treat and restore the health of her hair.
Berta shared her story with us: "I believe there’s a false belief that curly hair is easy to manage and style, but nothing could be further from the truth. Curly hair is not easy; it’s naturally dry. Plus, most salons (and I've tried many) don’t know how to treat it. The products for this type of hair don’t achieve natural results. In ads, media, and elsewhere, this type of hair is rarely represented, which often pushes us to not accept it and to straighten it at all costs.
With all this in mind, I came to Henna Morena with a bit of skepticism, but I’ve definitely noticed that since I started using their products and following the Method, the condition of my hair has improved significantly, recovering much of the vitality that my curls had lost over time and from using harsh products. And although I still feel like I’m in the process, over these past few months I’ve learned that in addition to the importance of nourishing and caring for my hair with high-quality, natural products, it’s crucial to give my hair the time and care it deserves. I’m still trying out different products from the brand, and so far my favorites are Almond Oil and Cassia Obovata (the first time I used it, I didn’t rinse my hair properly, but after discussing it with Rosa, she stressed the importance of a good rinse, and I was amazed at the results!)."
After a process of resetting and hydrating her hair to define her curls, she was able to use Chamomile to cover her gray hair. After several attempts, she succeeded and now flaunts a spectacular color.
