Almond

The Phoenicians, a people who had a special reverence for this nut, introduced it to Spain through the Mediterranean. With Almond Oils, always cold-pressed, we strengthen and stimulate hair growth while also restoring the lipid and protective layer. And let’s not forget the healthy fats and the B and E vitamins they provide us.

Aloe Vera

Another treasure offered by nature. With bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, and skin-regenerating properties, among many other benefits. Its skincare properties are endless, but what does Aloe bring to our hair? It contains antioxidants, vitamins A, C, and E, folic acid, and many minerals. Plus, its gel-like texture helps define curls and keep them hydrated without weighing them down or making the hair greasy.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon contains a large amount of vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, vitamin B1, iron, potassium, calcium, and phosphorus. This plant strengthens the scalp, promotes hair growth, and cleanses hair follicles, making hair grow stronger. Additionally, it is moisturizing and adds shine to the hair.

Henna

Pure Henna is the powder obtained by crushing the leaves of a shrub called Lawsonia Inermis. This plant, known since ancient times for its aesthetic benefits, restores minerals to the hair, deeply nourishes it, and dyes it naturally. The result is strong, healthy hair with a spectacular shine. As you can imagine, we are big fans of Henna here!

Lavender

Lavender grows in the dry meadows of the Mediterranean and allows us to travel olfactorily through its aroma. It is considered sedative, anti-inflammatory, digestive, antibacterial, diuretic, antiseptic, and healing. We could say it’s a great gift without wrapping. It will help calm the scalp and add volume.

Chamomile

Although Chamomile is a plant native to the Balkans, North Africa, and Western Asia, it is now cultivated all over the world, including Spain. It is one of the oldest known medicinal herbs, recognized for its digestive and calming benefits, and its intense aroma has increased its popularity. When it comes to hair, it is very popular among blondes for its ability to maintain and enhance their golden color; this is no secret. However, there’s more: with Chamomile, we soothe sensitive scalps, tone down gray hair in blondes, and restore shine.

Rosemary

Rosemary is one of our talisman plants in the Henna Morena formulas. Native to the Mediterranean, we have a special connection with it. The essential oil is extracted from its flowers and leaves, serving as a powerful stimulant, antioxidant, wound healer, anti-inflammatory, and natural antibiotic.

This aromatic plant has countless benefits for our bodies. And what does it bring to our hair? It helps improve scalp circulation and eliminates excess oil, acting as a tonic that allows us to space out washes.

Sage

It grows swayed by the Mediterranean breeze and is one of the most recommended plants for reducing menstrual pain, inflammation, and hormonal disorders (nature is on our side). Sage also helps restore the flow of melanin, as well as the shine and vitality of your hair.

Orange

We all know about the vitamin C content in oranges, one of the most cherished and consumed Mediterranean fruits. This vitamin, when incorporated into our hair formulas, restores shine, eliminates toxins, acts as a conditioner, and provides radiance, in addition to naturally eliminating dandruff.

Laurel

It is the star of countless rituals and is surrounded by an aura of magic. The Greeks and Romans wore it as a crown as a symbol of protection. In our formulas, bay laurel helps protect hair from falling out. It contains vitamin C and iron, which aid in better absorption of vitamin B12, helping to prevent hair loss, keep it strong, and avoid premature graying.

Hibiscus

Hibiscus has strong antioxidant properties, prevents premature aging of the hair, and promotes blood circulation, stimulating growth. It is a natural anti-dandruff agent, adds shine, and enhances the coppery color of Henna.

Myrrh

Myrrh has multiple properties for skin and hair: it cleanses the scalp, hydrates the hair, and strengthens hair follicles, promoting hair growth. Additionally, it has antifungal properties and helps combat oiliness, dandruff, and hair loss.

Olive

The Olive tree offers various benefits for hair. Its crushed leaves provide hydration, contain antioxidant properties, and strengthen the hair. Olive oil provides hydration, shine, nourishment, stronger hair, eliminates frizz, and regenerates the hair structure.

Grape Seed

At Henna Morena, we use Grape Seed for its antioxidant and anti-aging properties. With a high concentration of vitamin E, linoleic acid, and Omega 6, Grape Seed Oil is ideal for hydrating the hair without greasing it, strengthening the hair cuticle, adding shine, and preventing premature aging.

Thyme

Thyme contains phenolic acids, tannins, and flavonoids that provide multiple benefits. It also has antiseptic and antifungal properties, helps combat dandruff and fungi, strengthens the hair, stimulates growth, adds shine, and improves scalp circulation.

Cassia Obovata

This plant has the same properties as Henna but does not dye. It has the power to strengthen the hair, add shine, and create volume by coating the entire hair cuticle, forming a protective layer. If you have hair loss issues or your hair looks dull and lifeless but don’t want to dye it, Cassia Obovata is your treatment. This plant coats and protects the hair cuticle, strengthening it while enhancing the hair's natural color.

Juniper

Juniper Tar contains active principles that provide antiseptic, antibacterial, and antidermatitic properties, which is why it has traditionally been used for conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and dandruff.

Orange Blossom

The Orange Blossom is not only known for its exquisite fragrance but also for its moisturizing, toning, and softening properties on the hair, stimulating its growth.

Nettle

Nettle is a plant that, despite being labeled a "weed," has been used for years for its astringent properties. When applied to the hair, it helps regulate excess oil on the scalp.

Indigo

Indigo is one of the oldest natural dyes used since ancient times to color both textiles and hair. On hair, it darkens naturally and, in addition to dyeing, it provides shine, strength, and body.

Shea

Shea is a fruit that comes from a tree called Butyrospermum parkii, which grows wild in the African savanna, particularly in parts of West Africa. Shea is used to produce shea butter, a super-nutritive oil with countless uses.

Coconut

Coconut oil is globally known for its use in cooking, but it is also renowned for its benefits for skin and hair. It stands out for its moisturizing, protective, and nourishing properties.

Green Tea

The main appeal of green tea is its powerful antioxidant and diuretic properties, which provide great benefits to the entire body, including the hair. It cleanses and protects the hair and scalp from environmental damage. Additionally, it has a conditioning and moisturizing effect.

Grapefruit

Its high vitamin content, especially vitamin C, makes it a natural antioxidant. When applied to the hair, grapefruit regulates oil production, cleanses, and conditions, helping to keep it hydrated and smooth.
