Shea

VITELLARIA PARADOXA

Shea comes from the fruit of a tree called Butyrospermum parkii, which grows wild in the African savannah in parts of West Africa. From this we obtain Shea butter, a highly nutritious oil with countless uses.

Although there are industrial processes for its transformation into butter, Henna Morena's one is produced in a traditional way by an association of women in Burkina Faso. They collect the fruit, select it, roast it and grind it until they obtain an ecological and vegan butter, without microplastics, mineral oils or metallic nanoparticles that contaminate the sea or the environment.

It contains antioxidants, such as tocopherols (vitamin E), which act against premature ageing of the tissues. In addition, because of its high content of oleic acid (Omega 9) and linolenic acid (Omega 3), which gives it highly emollient (moisturising) and nourishing properties, unrefined Shea Butter is fantastic for the care of all skin types, in particular for the driest and most malnourished skins and sensitive skins. This butter is also rich in Lupeol, a natural anti-inflammatory that is highly recommended after a day in the sun or after sport.
